Precautions for installing and adjusting pipeline Magnetic separator
1.The installation inclination Angle of the Pipeline Magnetic Separator (the Angle between the line connecting the centers of the inlet and outlet ports and the horizontal plane) is preferably between 55° and 60°. The motor shaft must not be tilted on either side (i.e., the motor shaft must remain horizontal). The discharge port should not be sealed with the iron discharge pipe. It is advisable to connect the iron with a rectangular iron receiving hopper or a channel-shaped iron receiving trough. The distance between the iron discharge port and the iron receiving hopper should be 60mm to facilitate manual removal of possible obstructions (such as iron wire and material blocks) inside the iron discharge port when necessary.
2. The electrical control system of the pipeline magnetic separator can be directly connected to the power supply, and the equipment can work independently. It can also be controlled by the powder conveying system, and the opening and closing of this system determines whether this equipment works or not.
3. Gaskets or asbestos ropes must be placed between the flange connection surfaces of the inlet and outlet to ensure the sealing performance at the connection points and prevent dust from overflowing and polluting the environment.
4.After the power is connected and the equipment is started for the first time, it is necessary to observe whether the running direction of the equipment is correct. The following two methods can be used: A. Observe the rotation direction of the reduction motor. Its rotation direction should be consistent with the arrow direction marked on the chain bearing. B. Open the observation port on the machine side and place a ferromagnetic object (such as a nut) with a particle size of less than 22mm on the surface of the adsorption partition. It is correct if the object moves downward towards the iron outlet. If the movement direction is incorrect, the machine should be turned off immediately. Change the rotation direction of the motor and try again.
5.Before use, the start and stop time of the motor should be appropriately adjusted according to the amount of ferromagnetic impurities mixed in the powder. By adjusting the button of the time relay in the electrical control box, these two times can be changed, and their values can be directly observed on the button. The reference selected time is: 10 seconds for exercise. The interval time is 3 to 10 minutes. Users can determine the optimal time by themselves through operation, observation and inspection, with the iron discharge volume not exceeding 3kg each time. If the iron content in the powder is relatively high or the powder temperature is too high, the continuous operation mode of the reducer can also be adopted.
6. Before use, N68 (old grade 40#) mechanical lubricating oil must be injected into the machine case through the oil injection port. Add oil to the middle position of the oil level observation window. If the oil level is insufficient after use, add it to the center position of the oil level observation window. The oil change cycle is one year.
7.Under no circumstances are large iron blocks (≥0.1kg, length ≥80mm) allowed to enter the machine to avoid causing malfunctions in the magnet assembly or affecting the iron removal effect.
